Disregarding Laws and Agreements

of Ideas that were once Dismissed
Celebrating
Dismantling of Branches of Government
Placing
One in-Charge instead of supporting Three Co-Equals
As
we watch and listen to the news, think of what part we are playing. Are we
adding to the chaos? Are we watching as they build a pyramid of power and self-glory
out of the rubble of our institutions? Are we adding bricks to their pyramid and
cheering as they build and restructure? Are we the labor, working to make the
mortar and the bricks?
Or
are we silently complaining when we should be standing shoulder to shoulder,
helping those in need, protecting those being persecuted, and reminding those
currently
in power, that we are a nation of immigrants, and all are equal.
Where
are our voices? Are we screaming against the Chaos?
Raising
up and marching in the streets in protest?
Or
are we just watching the chaos around us?
