(Continued from Part 1)
“What the hell
am I doing?” you ask yourself. “He is good
looking, and interested, but am I really thinking about sex with a rock and
roll drummer? Maybe after they finish, I’ll be tired or change my mind.”
You take your
drink and head back to the table.
All during the
night there was a guy who, during every new song, would yell “Free Bird”.
After Pat turns
off the recorded music, they do a quick systems check on everyone, and then
Jimmy goes to his microphone. “Welcome back everyone. To kick off our second
set, this one is for you, guy yelling from the back."
Jimmy and Pat
start in with a very familiar chord. The crowd breaks into screams and applause
as you watch Stan hit the drums hard as they begin “Free Bird”
Then you hear
Stan’s voice start off
“If I leave here
tomorrow….would you still remember me….”
A shiver runs
down you as he sings it. I almost sounds
like he is singing directly to you. You are filled
with a desire to just hug him tightly. You take a gulp of your drink.
“It is all my
imagination. Just enjoy the show.” You tell
yourself.
When the guitar
solo kicks in, there are people in the audience pumping their fists in the air.
A few have pulled out their lighters and are holding them up. Others are just
bouncing their heads back and forth in time with the music. Shonda’s bass
playing adds to Jimmy’s guitar in just the right way.
When it ends,
your heart is beating fast. You scream and clap loudly with everyone else.
“Thank you
everyone. Now that we got your heart’s
racing, I am going to slow things back down a bit.” Jimmy says as he switches
from his electric guitar to his acoustic.
He strums a very
classic wester rhythm and all of them sing “Ventura Highway” together. You
notice that Stan switched from drumsticks to brushes. It all sounds so good. The words don’t make
sense, but who cares. It all feels right.
Your glass is
empty again. You go to the bar and get a
water with lime. Maybe alcohol and
caffeine aren’t the answer tonight.
Jimmy switches
back to his electric guitar and does another slow strumming rhythm.
Shonda steps up
to her microphone. “Baby I get so scared inside and I don’t really understand….”
You know the original was a duet between Lita Ford and Ozzy Osbourne, and it
makes sense for Shonda to sing the Lita part, but it surprises you when you
hear Pat answer. “Heaven is in the palm of my hand and it is waiting here for
you….” You hadn’t imagined “Close My Eyes Forever” as a duet between two women,
but you can feel the electricity between them.
It is so erotic.
You look over to
Stan. He has his drum sticks again and he is beating out a steady rhythm for
them, as Jimmy gives an excellent guitar solo. Shonda puts in so much emotion
into the words, you wonder who she is really singing to.
After the
applause and cheers, you see Stan get up, with a harmonica in hand and move to
the center stage. “Jimmy, let me see if
I can pick up the tempo a bit.”
They all nod to
each other. Pat is turning on something
and making a few quick adjustments. Shonda has her bass ready and starts slowly
strumming. Stan makes a weird sound from his harmonica, almost more like horn.
“I’ve been in a
cave… for forty days…. With only a spark… to light my way…I want to get out… I
want to give in…This is our time…This is our Sin….but I still believe…. I still
believe…through the pain… through the grief….through the lies…..through the
storm…through the cries…. Through wars….Oh I still believe!”
Then he blow his
harmonica again in a way that sounds so good and so right. The song “I Still Believe” is vaguely
familiar, but not a top 40 hit. You see
Jimmy and Shonda clapping with the drum machine at times. Soon the whole crowd is clapping along as
Stan blows his harmonica with so much passion.
When Stan gets
to the line in the song “So People like Us…. In places like this… We need all
the hope….we can get….Ohhhh I still BeLieve!”
You swear he is
looking directly at you. Between his
voice and looks, you are getting excited and a little damp.
Stan moves back
to the drums again as Pat makes another quick change to her keyboard. It is the piano
sound again. As you hear an almost
bluesy tune begin.
Stan, Jimmy, and
Shonda are all snapping their fingers in time as Pat sings “Why can’t I lay
low….Why can’t I say what I mean…Why don’t I stay home…”
You hadn’t
imagined a woman singing lead on “Big Man on Mulberry Street”.
But it works.
Stan is playing drums again with the brushes, but at one point he picks up a harmonica
and adds the perfect sound to such a bluesy tune. The only thing they are
missing is about three or four more guys with horns. But they’re a
rock and roll band and not a jazz band. Damn they are talented.
As it ends.
Jimmy yells “Everyone show Pat just how much you loved that.”
Everyone in the
bar applauds and cheers, as Pat steps from behind her keyboard and bows. Jimmy grabs his
acoustic guitar and Shonda sits with the steel guitar on her lap.
“Here is a song
for everyone out there who is with someone or wants to be with someone….” He
says as he starts in a country western tempo.
“I really do….appreciate…
the fact your….sitting here…your voice sounds so wonderful…but your face don’t
look to clear…Bar..Maid….Bring a pitcher…..another round of brews….” The whole
bar shouts the line “Why don’t we get drunk and screw!”
“Yeah! That’s
what I’m talking about. I knew you guys
knew this one.” He says and then continues the song. You are smiling and singing along too.
The rest of the
set continues like that. They do a
version of “Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad”, “I Knew You Were Trouble”, “Hook”
where Stan’s was centerstage with his harmonica again. “Thunder Road”, an almost bluesy version of
“Time of the Season”
Pat was lead
vocals on that one, but during the echoed line when the other members of the
band sing “What’s your name…. Who’s your daddy?” You hear Stan clearly.
You take a sip
of your drink then slowly exhale. You
really do want to meet up with him after the show.
After “Time of
the Season” they do “Everybody Knows”. Stan’s drumming echoes though the club,
under Jimmy’s vocals. When Jimmy sings “Everyone knows that you’ve been
faithful….give or take a night or two…” he is looking at you.
Or at least you
think so.
When it ends,
Jimmy announces “You have been a wonderful audience, tonight. We are going to close it out with an old song
from America “Sister Golden Hair”. So,
tip your waitstaff, be careful going home, and enjoy your night.”
He takes his
acoustic guitar and starts strumming. Pat
answers with her keyboard, as Shonda and Stan keep a steady beat. You hear Stan singing, “Well I tried to make
it Sunday…. But I got so damned depressed….That I set my sights on Monday and I
got myself undressed…I ain’t ready for the altar… but I do agree there’s
times…. When a woman sure can be a friend of mine….”
As he keeps
singing, it seems again as if it’s directly to you. You take your
glass to the bar, and close out your tab for the night.
“Will you love
me just a little… Just enough to show you can…” you hear so clearly.
You know it’s
just the lyrics of the song, but God knows that feels like it is directly at
you. As the song ends,
you head out, with your car keys in your hand.
You can drive
home or to the hotel. You feel a buzz
like you have been drinking hard all night. You pick the
hotel. While you are there, you can always change your mind. It is a major
chain hotel, one that you have a loyalty card for too.
Looking around
the empty lobby, you see a couple of soft lounge chairs and a couch.
“Can I help you
with something?” asks a smiling man in a vest with a name tag.
“I am here to
see someone. He and his friends were just finishing up, and I got here before
them.” You answer.
He slowly nods
and smiles wider, “You can take a seat over there, or you can wait in the
lounge. When your friend shows up, I can
send him there.”
After thinking
it over for a minute, you say, “Sure, his name is Stan, and I forget his last
name. He is the drummer with “Brain Fog Lighthouse.”
He nods and
smiles again. “When they return, I will tell them you are waiting in the bar.”
“Thanks.” And
you follow the sign pointing to “Lounge”.
It is the
typical hotel bar, with a scattering of tables and a short bar top with a
little less than a dozen stools. It is mostly
empty, except for a couple of older guys, sipping drinks and watching the large
screen TV. You grab an empty table near
the entrance with a view of the parking lot.
You glance at your watch, then look to the window.
“What can I get
you?” ask the bartender who walked over to you.
“Just a cola.”
You say almost absentmindedly.
“Be right back.”
You keep looking
to the parking lot. You still feel a rush of anticipation.
“They don’t have
roadies, so they have to pack up their equipment, load it into their vehicle,
and then drive here. I don’t even know
what they are driving. I doubt it’s a bus with “Brain Fog Lighthouse” on the
side.
“Do you want to pay
or charge it to your room?” he asks as he sets down your drink.
You open your
wallet and hand him cash.
“It will just be
this one. Keep the change.” You tell him. You sip it as he
heads back behind the bar. “If he doesn’t
show up before I finish this, I’ll just go home. If I go home, I am definitely
using a toy on myself.” You think, still tingling.
After a few
minutes, you see a big RV pull into the parking lot. You watch Jimmy,
Shonda, and Pat climb out the side. Then you see Stan
get out of the driver’s seat.
Your heart is
beating faster. “Damn. This is
just a hookup. Maybe not even that.” You
think.
After a couple
more minutes you see Stan in the entrance looking around, then straight at
you. He is smiling broadly as he walks
up.
“I thought you
might have changed your mind. We can sit
here and talk if you want, or go up to my suite.” He says.
“You have a
suite? I thought you were a poor musician.” You respond with a smile.
“With the way we
travel, we get enough points, we can each get a suite almost every town.”
“You stay at the
same hotels?” you ask as you finish your drink.
“We do when we
can. Being a Platinum Level guest has a lot of perks.” He says as he extends
his hand when you stand up. You place the empty glass on the bar, before you
hook your arms in Stan’s.
When he opens
the door, you are a little surprised. It is a suite.
A living room
area and kitchenette, and you see another room with a bed.
“Do you want to
sit and talk? I can pour you something
to drink?” he says as he strips off his sweaty shirts.
His back and
shoulders are well muscled, from years of drumming. You wolf whistle
at his bare torso as you sit on the couch. “You don’t need
to put a shirt on, unless you feel cold.” You say. He turns and you
see curly hair on his chest and his hard nipples. “You might be
cold.” You say laughing. You really like how he looks, and you want him.
He grabs a towel
from the bathroom and wipes his skin.
“The stage lights are hot and compared to that, the room is cold.”
You look down at
his crotch, “Hopefully not too cold.” you say still laughing.
“Give me a
second.” He steps into the bathroom, and you hear running water.
After a few
minutes he goes to the bedroom and then comes back pulling on a black t-shirt.
“You don’t have
to dress for me.” You say, patting the spot on the couch next to you.
“I thought you
wanted to talk. If you just want sex, we can move to the bedroom.” He says in an
exaggerated comedic tone, turning to the bedroom.
“Oh, just sit
down next to me. Tell me who you are,
Stan.”
“I will, if you
tell me about you. Do you often pick up stray drummers?”
You laugh at
that, “No you are my first. Drummer, that is.”
He sits down and
slowly plays with your hair. You both talk
about your histories in general. He talks about
his time as a commercial session musician, the same as his band mates. You talk about
your job, your ex, and how much you enjoy going to the café every week to hear
live music.
As you have been
talking, you both have been moving closer to each other.
“So have you
been with others since your ex?” He asks as he slowly moves his fingers down
your arm, and you feel that tingle of excitement.
“Have you been
with a lot of women on the road?” you respond.
He shakes his
head. “No. That’s why I was glad to see
you at the bar. You aren’t one of the chippies
that used to show up at the stage door of the bigger bands we used to open for.
No, you look like a woman who knows what she wants.”
He says as he
leans in closer. You lean in and
kiss him. His warm lips feel good
against yours.
A moment later
you feel his tongue parting your lips and moving around. Back and forth,
deeper and then shallow. Then out of your mouth.
“Wow. You know how to use your tongue.” you say on
a surprised tone.
“Shall I really
show you? Do you want to stay on the couch or move to the bed?”
You stand up,
and grab his hand. “Let’s see this bed of yours.”
Walking into the
bedroom, he strips off his t-shirt and his jeans, as you pull off your top and slacks. Normally you want to do this slowly, but for
some reason tonight, you want to get naked and feel his body next to yours.
You feel his
fingers unclasping your bra, as he stands behind you and kisses your neck. His lips are
warm on your skin as he kisses you and slowly caresses your breasts. His
fingers feel strong as they rub and pinch your hardening nipples.
You reach behind
and grip his hardening dick, stroking him as he continues standing behind you. “Can
we lie down on the bed?” you ask.
He turns you and
then has you lie on your back, pulling off your panties, and spreading your
legs. You feel his strong hands on your
thighs as he softly kisses the inside of your right thigh. Its soft but
different. He does a quick little lick with the tip of his tongue.
You feel him
moving closer to your pussy. The
anticipation already has you damp as you feel him getting closer. “You have a very
pretty pussy.” He says and you
feel his tongue slowly move up and down. He then spreads your legs wider and
tilts his head.
You feel his
mouth cover your pussy lips as his tongue moves back and forth quickly. Sometimes
on your lips and sometimes between them. It feels so good you try to close your
legs on him but he presses against them to keep them wide.
Your pussy is
tingling like you are hooked up to a vibrator.
Then he moves up
to your clit. His mouth is
warm and wet and then you feel the firm suction. As he sucks, the
tip of his tongue moves around it.
You are
breathing harder, as you grab a hand full of bedspread with one hand and grab
his head with the other. It is almost too
fast and too intense. You feel the pleasure move through you as your thighs and
hands try to clench as you cum.
He stops sucking
and then slowly licks your pussy lips. “Mmmmm. Did you
enjoy that?” He asks still between your legs.
“Damn, you are
good with your mouth.” You say, trying to slow your breathing.
“Years of
harmonica will do that. Now that you had your first orgasm of the night, we can
take our time if you want.” He says as
he gets on the bed and lies next to you.
“Don’t you want
to cum now, too?” you ask as you grip and stroke his hard cock.
He kisses you
and caresses your left breast. “I wanted
to help diffuse the post-concert excitement.
For me, concentrating on giving pleasure does it.”
He moves from
your mouth to your hard nipples. Once again,
he demonstrates the skill of his mouth, but you also feel the thick fingers of
his hand between your legs and rubbing your pussy. Two fingers slide into you as he firmly sucks
your right nipple.
“God, you are
good. But lie back and let me have you for a minute.” You tell him.
He slowly
withdraws and lies back. His hard cock resting
on his stomach.
You move down,
grab it again, then slowly lick the tip. You have wanted
to taste him all night.
It isn’t the
biggest or longest you have had but it’s nice and as you suck on it, it feels
good in your mouth. You grip the base of his shaft as you take it deeper into
your mouth, feeling it press down your tongue and rub the roof of your mouth.
The tip pushes
against the back of your mouth as you open and let saliva coat his hard dick.
Your hand strokes it faster as you suck him harder again.
“You are pretty
good with your mouth too.” He says as he grunts in pleasure.
He feels so hard
and slick in your mouth, but you want him inside of you. You stop sucking
and look at him. “Fuck me. Fuck me now.” You say.
“I will but let
me do one thing first.” He says as you release him.
He moves off the
bed and goes to his suitcase to pull out a box of condoms. Taking one out
of the package, he rolls it down his still hard shaft. “I always wear
protection while I’m on the road.” He says as comes back.
He crawls onto
the bed and kisses your mouth. “How do
you want to do this?” he asks.
“Let’s start
missionary and see where we go from there.” You say, as you lie on your back
and spread your legs. He rubs the tip of his rubber clad cock, along your wet
pussy lips to help lubricate it, before he slowly works it into you.
You like the
thickness of him as he goes deeper with each thrust of his hips.
Looking directly
into his eyes you wrap your legs around him. “Yes, go deeper.” You feel it
going in and out, faster, a bit harder, and as deep as he can go. His chest is
rubbing against your nipples as he humps you faster and harder.
It feels good,
but you think doggie might feel better. “Let’s change it
up.” You say and roll over after he pulls out. You get on your
hands and knees, with your ass high in the air.
His hands grip
your hips and spread your ass cheeks as he thrusts into your hot wet cunt
again. “That’s it. Fuck me harder.” You
gasp.
It feels so good
you bounce back and forth against him.
You both are sweating
now. It feels good, and you reach down
and rub your clit.
“Spank my ass.”
You tell him, as you are breathing hard again.
The sharp crack
of his hand on your right ass cheek puts a shiver through your body as you finger
your clit faster. “Cum with me.” You
command.
He is breathing
harder and sweating as he thrusts hard and holds you tightly.
You feel your
own pleasure building again as you rub harder.
Your pussy
pulses around his throbbing cock as you both cum. Both of you are
sweating as he slowly pulls from you. He gets up,
pulls the condom off and drops it into the trash.
“Do you want to
grab a quick shower?” he asks as he grabs a towel.
You get off the
bed and join him. The hotel has a
good shower head and the water is nice and hot. You both soap up
and rinse each other.
He turns off the
water and hands you a towel. “Do you want me
to dry you?” he offers.
“No.” you say as
you dry yourself, “I need to go home. This was great, and no one would believe
that I slept with a rock and roll drummer.”
“It doesn’t need
to be a one-time thing.” He says as he dries himself too.
You drop the wet
towel on the bathroom floor and get dressed.
“Do you want my
phone number?” he asks as he slides a pair of shorts on.
You think about
it for a moment. “Sure.” And add his number to your phone, as he does the same
with yours.
“Maybe if we
have time, we can have breakfast or dinner the next time I’m in town.”
You walk up, hug
him, and kiss him in the cheek. “I would like that.”
Right as you get
to door, he yells, “Wait a second. I think I still have one.”
You stop. He
tosses a rolled-up t-shirt to you. “We
made a few of these during our last tour. They weren’t really big sellers, so
now we only sell them on our merch store online.” You unroll it and it is the same logo as his
drum kit.
“Thanks, I love
it. If you don’t leave too early in the morning, call me for breakfast.”
“Will do. Be
safe.”
You get into
your car, and look at the t-shirt, smiling to yourself. “That’s one way
to get a free t-shirt”
